Privacy Policy
Draft preview — not published. Effective date and final launch review are completed at publication.
Effective date: [DATE]
FieldOps Works (a sole proprietorship of Brian Congelliere) ("we", "us") operates fieldopsworks.com.
This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a
small paid offer test.
What we collect
- Your email address — when you contact us or purchase, so we can answer, deliver, and support the offer.
- Payment and transaction information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Stripe handles full card details under its own terms. We receive limited transaction information needed to confirm payment, deliver the offer, and handle refunds.
- One purpose-limited qualification event — before checkout, you may tell us whether both target- buyer statements apply to you. We store only the server-assigned time, experiment/version, channel group, your
qualifiedornot_qualifiedresponse, and a random single-use event reference that prevents a retry from being counted twice. We do not put your name, email, IP address, raw browser details, free text, or a persistent visitor identifier in that event. The event is stored in Cloudflare D1 via a Cloudflare Pages Function; Cloudflare Pages hosts the site. Cloudflare may transiently process IP addresses, routing data, system configuration, and other request information to deliver and protect the page. We do not copy that transient request information into our event record. - Stripe checkout technology — Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies and process transaction and device information for payment operation, fraud and loss prevention, authentication, and service analytics. The venture does not add advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, session replay, or cross-site profiling.
- What you voluntarily send us for the deliverable. Our service is data-minimizing by design: we work from your own aggregate or example inputs. Do not send us your employees' or customers' personal records — we don't need them and won't request them. Submitted written rules and examples are treated as confidential business information, are visible only to the venture owner and necessary service providers, and are not reused for another buyer or used to train a model.
How we use it
To measure whether the offer reaches its intended buyer, prevent duplicate event counting, deliver and
support the service you requested, respond to you, and process your payment. We do not use the
qualification event to profile you or decide whether you may purchase.
Who we share it with
Only service providers needed to run the offer: Stripe (payments), Google Workspace (email),
and Cloudflare (Pages hosting, Pages Functions, and D1 event storage). We do not sell your
information or share it
for others' advertising.
Retention and deletion
We retain raw qualification events and their random references through final experiment reconciliation
for no more than 180 days, then delete them and retain only aggregate counts. We delete submitted rule
templates, synthetic examples, and working workbook copies within 30 days after delivery or cancellation,
unless you ask for earlier deletion or a legal obligation requires longer retention. Transaction and
accounting records may be retained for applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations; they are not used
to preserve the submitted rules. You can ask us to access or delete information at
[email protected]; we will respond promptly, subject to records we must retain by law.
Our 180-day deletion rule removes the venture's raw D1 rows. Cloudflare's provider-level retention varies
by purpose and legal requirements, and its public policy does not state a D1-specific backup-deletion
interval. We therefore do not promise immediate removal from every provider system. Provider-held data
is governed by Cloudflare's published privacy terms and is not restored or reused by us after our deletion.
If prohibited employee, customer, payroll, banking, tax, or credential data is sent inadvertently, we
stop processing it, restrict access to the venture owner, notify the sender not to resend it, and delete
it from active systems and trash under our control as soon as operationally possible. Provider backup
copies, if any, remain subject to the provider's disclosed retention practices and are not restored for use.
Your choices
You can choose not to purchase or contact us and can request access or deletion. The qualification
answer does not prevent checkout; both answers receive the same price and offer. Any choices required by
the final hosting or checkout configuration will be described before publication.
